New for 2021- Family & Friends Activity Sessions!

Pop in for one session, or book several to give your family & friends a day packed full of excitement- it's your adventure, your way!

Set within our 300 acre private woodland, our activity sessions provide the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with friends and family in a safe environment. Each session lasts 1.5 hours and is bookable as a family or friendship group (maximum 10 people).

The sessions are run by our enthusiastic, well qualified outdoor instructors who will provide you with the appropriate safety equipment and safety briefing and then support your group through the session and help you develop your skills - whether you want to bond as a team or add a little bit of competition, the choice is yours!

We are now accepting bookings in line with the updated government guidance. Each 'ticket' admits up to 4 people and costs £50. Additional participants can be added during checkout, at the 'guest extras' stage. Each additional participant costs £12, and up to 6 additional participants are permitted per 'ticket'.

Activities

Archery- Develop your Robin Hood skills with our qualified GB Archery instructors, learning something new, or perfecting your technique. See how many points you can score as a team or end with your own archery contest! Will any of you be able to get a Bulls-eye?! Suitable for ages 5+ (Children under 8 may require parental assistance to pull the bow back fully)

Bushcraft- Channel your inner Bear Grylls as you discover what it takes to survive out in the wilds of Hindleap Forest! You will be introduced to basic bushcraft skills including plant recognition and traditional fire-lighting techniques. Will any of your group master the bow-drill and get a fire roaring? Finish the session cooking yourself some popcorn or toasting a marshmallow on a fire that you built yourself! Suitable for ages 5+

Climbing & Abseiling - Whether you want to stay low and perfect your technique on our rocky climbing wall or climb to the very top of our climbing tower, there will be a challenge to suit you. For the very brave, have a go at abseiling from the top of our 40ft tower- one for the adrenaline junkies! Suitable for ages 5+

High Ropes - Safely clipped in by your instructor, you can choose to swing across the tyres, and balance on the wobbly bridge on our pentagon course, or perhaps you want to climb up into the trees before taking the 'leap of faith' and jumping for the trapeze swing?! We have several exciting high ropes courses and our instructor will work with you to choose the ones that suit your group. Suitable for ages 8+

Important Information

Prices: £50.00 for a group of up to 4 people, then an extra £12.00 for each additional person up to a maximum group size of 10. (Session lasts 1.5 hours)

Ages: Climbing & Abseiling, Bushcraft and Archery are suitable for those aged 5+, High Ropes is suitable for those aged 8+. We also welcome older groups of 'big kids'!  In addition, we have self-led orienteering and scavenger hunt sessions available for our younger explorers. Other: Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre is not open to the public and therefore anyone onsite without a pre-booked activity will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. Please do not visit us if you do not have a pre-booked activity session(s).

Covid-19: If we're unable to run your activity session due to Covid-19 related reasons, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you choose to cancel your activity session for reasons unrelated to Covid-19, our terms and conditions will exist in the normal way. You will be required to read our terms and conditions in full, before proceeding with your booking.
