Self- Led Activity Sessions

New for 2021- Family & Friends Activity Days!

 Explore our beautiful 300 acres of woodland at your own pace, with your family and friends. Our self-led orienteering or scavenger hunt is suitable for children of all ages. You will receive a quick briefing, be handed a map, and off you go! 


Why not combine your orienteering or scavenger hunt with an instructor- led session such as Archery, Climbing or Bushcraft to really make the most of your day out? To book these sessions visit our 'Instructor- led Activities' portal here.

Orienteering / scavenger hunt is available to be booked by a family or friendship group and we can accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people per session.

We're staggering start times to allow for social distancing and we'd like to remind our guests to ensure they keep their distance and are respectful to others whilst onsite. There is no set time limit for self-led orienteering and scavenger hunt, however please note that you must vacate site by 4:30pm.

We are now accepting bookings in line with the updated government guidance. Each 'ticket' admits up to 4 people and costs £10. Additional participants can be added during checkout, at the 'guest extras' stage. Each additional participant costs £2, and up to 6 additional participants are permitted per 'ticket'.

 


Activities

Orienteering -  Put your map reading skills to the test with our orienteering course, which will lead you through our beautiful woodland. Lucky explorers may see some of our resident Fallow Deer or spot a Buzzard in the trees!


Scavenger Hunt - All the joys and freedoms of orienteering, but more suitable for our younger guests. The Scavenger hunt runs along the same course as Orienteering allowing different group members to choose a different challenge if they wish!

Important Information

Prices: £10 for a group of up to 4, then an additional £2.00 for each extra participant up to a maximum of 6 extras. (Maximum group size of 10)

Ages: Suitable for the whole family

 
Other: Hindleap Warren Outdoor Centre is not open to the public and therefore anyone onsite without a pre-booked activity will be asked to vacate the premises immediately. Please do not visit us if you do not have a pre-booked activity session(s).

Covid-19: If we are unable to run your activity session due to Covid-19 related reasons, you will be entitled to a full refund. If you choose to cancel your activity session for reasons unrelated to Covid-19, our terms and conditions will exist in the normal way. You will be required to read our terms and conditions in full, before proceeding with your booking.
